Imran qualified in 2001 and is currently a Director and Clinical Lead at Physiocare. He gained membership of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 2011 and qualified as an Independent and Supplementary prescriber in 2021. He can prescribe pain-relieving medicines and administer Soft Tissue & Joint Injections. He has worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist and first-contact Practitioner in an NHS setting, assessing, investigating, and managing complex patients.
Imran is a Qualified Diagnostic and interventional MSK Sonographer from the University of Essex. Imran uses point-of-care Ultrasound to confirm the diagnosis & offers ultrasound-guided injections. He has a special interest in Ultrasound Guided Injections. He was trained by the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group (SMUG) for Cadaveric US Guided MSK Injections. He performs over 1000 injections every year.
He is a Diplomate member of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine (UK) after passing the Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
