Aamir is an experienced Extended Scope Physiotherapist, Advance Musculoskeletal Practitioner, Independent Prescriber and Diagnostic & Interventional Musculoskeletal Sonographer (ultrasound) with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care. Skilled in Joint and Soft tissue Injections, Medicine prescribing, Acupuncture, Physiotherapy, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Sports Injuries and Sonography (ultrasound).
Aamir is expert in the ultrasound of joints, tendons and ligaments. Ultrasound can be used to help diagnosis, to monitor treatment and to give ultrasound-guided cortisone injections to these structures.
After completing MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East London, he worked for NHS and Private physiotherapy and podiatry clinics before pursuing PgCert focused on Muscle and Joint Sonography/Ultrasound and Soft tissue and Joint Injection from the Essex University.
He has completed his independent medicine prescribing from Coventry University and currently utilising his skills in the GP surgery, Diagnostic Sonography (ultrasound) skill at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW) Radiology as well as Diagnostic & Interventional Musculoskeletal Sonography Ultrasound skills at Worcester Royal Hospital Rheumatology.
