  1. Louise

After 4 years of attending Pilates classes at Physiocare I moved to the South Coast and having tried various classes and private instructors I have finally given up and have now returned to Physiocare. I travel up twice a month for one to one pilates sessions with Margaret! After only 6 sessions my body is now once again moving without pain, the headaches and associated backaches have gone, I’m out on 10k hikes again, the difference is nothing short of amazing.
A big thank you to all of you,

Liz Jones, my physiotherapist at Physiocare, following an assessment during treatment, recommended pilates as both a remedial and longer term preventative option for various issues. We have now been going to Lydia’s class for several months and my condition has improved noticeably. The way in which Lydia constantly monitors, and if necessary corrects, all participants to ensure exercises are being carried out properly is excellent.

I recently joined Lydia’s Pilates class and am really enjoying it. Lydia is friendly and knowledgeable and makes the classes really enjoyable. I feel confident in the class as Lydia comes around to check that everyone is doing the exercises correctly and, if required, helps you to improve. I can tell that my body is already benefiting and I come out feeling relaxed after every class.

I’ve been doing Pilates with Jacqui every week for nearly a decade now following back surgery and it has made a huge difference to my fitness across the board.
In fact I’m a bit of an evangelist on it….
Being physio lead means that you do it properly every time and every class is tailored to our needs each week so you are always progressing. My back condition is now completely under control and my overall fitness transformed. I just wish i’d tried it before I went down the surgery route.

Following a serious back operation some years ago I had struggled to get strength and mobility back until I started Pilates at Physiocare which has been the very best thing I have ever done for my back and general mobility. Michelle is a fantastic teacher, the classes are fun and challenging and my back remains pain free and strong. I’m never stopping!

I started Pilates at Physiocare with the attraction that it is Physio led. I have been doing a class with Lydia for over 3 years and feel it has greatly improved my body awareness. She makes her classes fun and enjoyable and the time just flies by. Lydia is very attentive to all class members and you know when you are not doing something quite right because you hear those footsteps approaching! It may only be the smallest of adjustments – her attention to detail is excellent. I come away each week feeling relaxed and better for it.
