Pilates: When are your Pilates classes held?

We run regular, six-week courses offering Pilates class. You may choose between either a day-time or an evening course. Each course consists of six one-hour Pilates sessions, usually in line with Berkshire school term times, and is led by the same Physiotherapist or Pilates instructor each week to provide consistency.

Pilates: How big are the classes?

The classes have a maximum of six people. This enables us to offer a high level of supervision to ensure that you exercise properly and gain maximum effect from each class.

Pilates: Do you have beginners and advanced courses?

We find that individual skill levels vary tremendously, even if you have done Pilates before. That’s why we do not separate course attendees according to their experience, but offer a single class for all instead. Our classes are small enough that we are able to tailor exercises to each individual. Pilates is not about how hard you can work certain muscles but about your ability to move freely and with control. The instructors will be able to progress the exercises accordingly for each person in each class.

Pilates: Can I come along to any session?

When you book onto a course, your lesson will be the same time each week. We do not allow people to drop in on other courses as it would be difficult to measure progression consistently. On completion of your course, you may be able to move to another course on a different day and or time, depending upon availability.

Pilates: If I cannot make a lesson will I still be charged?

The cost of the course is based on the full the six weeks and so we do not offer refunds for classes missed.

Pilates: What should I wear for the class?

It is best to wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move easily in.

Pilates: Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, you can book one-hour lessons which will include instruction on our specialist Pilates equipment.

Pilates: Charges

Each course of six, one-hour classes: £82.00

One hour private lesson: £50 (book a course of 10 lessons, pay for 9 in advance and receive the 10th lesson free of charge).
